The use of preoperative planning in joint replacement surgery can assist with improving accuracy of implant placement and enhancing patient outcome.


Precision AI’s surgical planning software enables the surgeon to create a patient specific surgical plan for shoulder replacement prior to surgery.


Displaying the joints as a 3D rendering allows the surgeons to clearly visualise the patient’s native anatomy and identify potential complications before entering the operating theatre.

Patient Specific Guides

With the increasing complexity of surgery and surgical decision-making, 3D printing is a novel modality making a significant impact in the surgical field. To help realise the preoperative plan intraoperatively we are also able to provide 3D printed patient specific guides.

Glenoid Guide

A 3D printed and patient specific surgical guide that assists with accurate placement of guide wire into the glenoid fossa. Facilitates accuracy of version, tilt and rotation of glenoid implant/component.

Humerus Guide

Our unique humeral guide assists with the accurate application of a cutting block. Ensures that the accurate version, tilt and depth of the humeral cut is delivered.

Regulatory

Our software and guides are approved for use in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. We are currently applying for wider international regulatory approval.
